Štampar Urban Red 2019

Štampar Urban red 2019 is a dry red wine from Međimurje, made from Gamay (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%). The wine underwent 15 days of maceration, natural malolactic fermentation, and aged for 12 months – 80% in large wooden barrels, 20% in barrique. Deep red colour with purple hues. The nose offers ripe cherry and blackberry aromas, mild spice and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is juicy, fruit-driven and fresh, with soft tannins and a mild peppery finish. Excellent with grilled meats, roasts, duck, goose and aged cheeses. Serve at 14–16 °C.
